The Innovation Design Engineering Educational Laboratory (IDEELab) at Mississippi State University is a cutting-edge facility dedicated to transforming engineering education. Located within Patterson Engineering Laboratories, IDEELab provides students, faculty, and industry partners with the tools and resources needed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world application.
Our mission is to advance workforce development, foster innovation, and drive research in engineering and manufacturing through hands-on learning and industry collaboration. IDEELab serves as a hub for experiential education, where students gain practical skills using advanced technologies such as CNC machines, 3D printers, and welding equipment.
