IDIEM

We are IDIEM, a Research and Development Center founded in 1898, to cover the testing and quality control needs of materials used in public works in Chile.

Our center, dependent of the Faculty of Physical Sciences and Mathematics of the University of Chile, has been the protagonist of technical development, contributing solutions that accompany the progress of the country.

Today, thanks to our experience and facilities, we are able to solve complex engineering problems in the area of construction.

All our testing, certification, inspection and engineering services are backed by high technical rigor, impartiality and reliability.

Our headquarters throughout the country are home to laboratories and more than 900 technicians and engineers, who work every day to meet the needs of the construction sector.
