About International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists

The International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC) is the only global organization devoted to cosmetic science.

Its 14,000+ Members work as cosmetic chemists, academics, raw material suppliers, and finished good producers. Founded in 1959 the IFSCC now has 50 Societies in 80 Countries. Its goal is to promote the global exchange of information, and to foster the development of professional relationships, among individuals working in cosmetic chemistry.

In even years the IFSCC holds an international Congress which generally draw 1,500 attendees and 300 exhibitors. A Conference in held in odd years, focused on cutting-edge science. Conferences generally have 400 attendees and 100 exhibitors.

Anyone who is a Member of their Country's Society of Cosmetic Chemists is automatically a Member of the IFSCC, provided that their Society belongs to the IFSCC. Any IFSCC Member can gain access to its quarterly on-line magazine and scientific papers of note via the Members' Zone by registering at www.ifscc.org.
