Ignition Laboratory was founded to help folks ignite their inner flame and be the best version of themselves. Today, I am doing that by helping small to mid-sized companies improve the visibility of their sales team's activity and encourage those teams to develop routines of self-accountability. In my experience everyone goes to work wanting to make a positive impact. Poor communication and bad processes often create tension and lower morale as people feel unable to actually make an impact. This is where I can help. For over twenty years I have turned teams around primarily with the introduction of 1:1 coaching and improved processes. When leaders make time to listen to their people I have found those very same people often have very effective and creative ways to solve problems but have not felt empowered enough to share their ideas. The same thing is true of salespeople. Many are successful because they have a strong work ethic and a passion for customer service. However time and again companies don't equip those sales people with the tools to be effective resulting in eventually becoming extremely reactive. I work to help develop the tools and tactics needed to help salespeople operate proactively. Once a sales team's activity is aligned with the strategic vision of the leadership, great things start to happen. Their operational tempo improves and the pipeline fills up with profitable opportunities.
