About Improvians Engineering Services
Improvians provides execution-focused engineering expertise to develop and commercialize electro-mechanical products with software and apps.
We work with university teams, startups, and product companies to translate ideas, research outcomes, and early prototypes into robust, market-ready products. Our work spans both regulated and non-regulated environments, with particular strength in medical devices and consumer electronics.
Our team supports end-to-end product development, including mechanical and electronic system design, embedded software, connected applications, and prototype realization. Engagements are typically milestone-driven, with a strong emphasis on engineering rigor, documentation, and verification readiness where required.
Improvians has experience across a wide range of electro-mechanical products, including connected medical devices, diagnostic instruments, wearables, IoT-enabled consumer products, and industrial systems. We have supported more than 125 physical electro-mechanical products and software programs at various stages of development.
Founded by a University of Michigan alum, Improvians operates with a global delivery model while maintaining engineering standards and communication practices aligned with U.S.-based teams. This allows us to provide focused execution support without the overhead of large internal teams.
We typically engage through short, milestone-based projects designed to help teams move efficiently from concept or prototype to validation and commercialization pathways.
