About IDA - Independent Distributors Association

Founded in 1958, the Independent Distributors Association (IDA) is a global, non-profit organization representing independent companies that supply high-quality parts, services, and equipment to the heavy construction industry. IDA members operate in more than 50 countries worldwide.

While the majority of IDA members are parts merchants, many also manage wholesale operations, supporting a diverse and resilient aftermarket ecosystem. On average, IDA associate members have been in business for nearly 50 years and collectively form a global network of more than 300 companies committed to serving customers with reliable alternatives to the OEM channel.
