Institute for Photovoltaics

The Institute for Photovoltaics, directed by Prof. MichaelSaliba, is engaged in research and teaching on the manufacturing, characterization and application of materials, components and systems in the field of semiconductor electronics and electrical energy storage systems; especially for their use in the field of renewable energies. Further activities are the defect-free laser processing of semiconductors and sensor technology.
