As the winter months draw closer many Ukrainians will face a critical problem as their windows have been shattered by bombs or bullets. This leaves them unprotected from the eastern cold as they often cannot afford the exorbitant prices require to refit their homes with glass.

Existing solutions such as OSB board fail to adequately address the challenges at hand. They do not provide sufficient insulation, compromise natural light, contribute to dampness within the homes, and result in structural damage from nearby explosions.
