International Debat

International Debat (ID) is a non-profit student organisation based at the Department of Political Science at University of Copenhagen, Denmark. The organisation was founded in the year 2000 and is open for all students though the volunteers are mainly studying political science. The aim of the organisation is to contribute to a qualified public debate on international affairs and increase the interest in international subjects of relevance to Denmark and Danish students in particular. This is done by organising big- and small-scale debates and seminars, writing articles to the press, meeting and discussing with ambassadors and professionals, sending delegations on study trips to, including a yearly trip to Brussels and by cooperating with relevant organisations in Denmark and abroad.
