About International Dyslexia Association of Ontario
Our mission is to create a future for all individuals who struggle with dyslexia and other related reading differences so that they may have richer, more robust lives and access to the tools and resources they need.
We believe individuals with dyslexia have the right to achieve their potential, that individual learning abilities can be strengthened, and that social, educational and cultural barriers to literacy must be removed.
IDA Ontario is a registered charity with over 20 years of experience supporting literacy equity through research, training, and advocacy. IDA Ontario is a primarily volunteer-run organization. We are a diverse group of individuals from across Ontario, united by a shared conviction that individuals affected by dyslexia should have the support they need to reach their full potential.
