The Basel-based family business was founded in 1753 and is one of the 30 oldest companies still in existence in Switzerland today. Jakob’s Basler Leckerly was one of the Leckerly pioneers and was named Basler Läckerli King in the course of the 19th century. To this day, the company still handcrafts its famous signature cookies in the old town of Basel.
