The J.C. Tamno Books Foundation brings together a group of highly skilled and deeply committed professionals who believe in developing the boundless potential of underserved children.
Mission: We seek to derail the school-to-prison pipeline through education.
Vision: We provide effective reading, spelling, and comprehension instruction to underserved children in order to ignite their passion for a life of achievement. We train teachers in both the structure of the English language and how to teach ALL children to be expert readers.
