Jeremiah's Journey

Jeremiah’s Journey is a local, self-funded charity that offers support and information to children, young people and their families, who have experienced or are anticipating the death of someone special.

Our mission is to provide compassionate support and guidance to children, young people, families and adults bereaved as children, who are navigating the difficult journey of grief.

Many of the children that we meet have been bereaved of a parent, sibling, grandparent or someone else who has been very significant in their lives. We also help children who have someone significant who is terminally ill.

We aim to support children through their grief in a way that feels most appropriate to them. This might be through; group sessions, meeting with them individually or giving advice and guidance to their parents/carers.
