JIS Energy is a U.S.-based energy technology company dedicated to advancing the way energy systems are designed, evaluated, and deployed. With deep roots in energy systems engineering and a mission to make complex modeling tools accessible and actionable, we develop software that empowers energy professionals to make data-driven decisions for resilient, efficient, and cost-effective infrastructure.
Our flagship platform, CogenS™, was built to solve real-world challenges in the combined heat and power (CHP) and microgrid sectors. Over the years, we have expanded CogenS into a robust suite of technoeconomic modeling tools that support the design and evaluation of cogeneration power plants, boilers, hot water heaters, chillers, and cooling towers. Each module enables side-by-side manufacturer comparisons using real building data, weather files, utility tariffs, and equipment specs to determine the best solution based on total cost of ownership, emissions, and energy performance.
