Formed over 100 years ago, J J Smith are recognised as one of the premier suppliers of new and used woodworking machinery in the UK.

We are a 4th generation family owned and managed company, which means we can take the long view when offering equipment - many of our customers come back for replacement equipment 10 or 15 years later, and what we offer reflects the fact that we want repeat business over many years.

We offer a huge range of new and used equipment from standard entry level classical machines to the latest " state of the art " 5 axis machining centres to automatic doorlines and offsite construction equipment.

We operate from a 3,750m2 [ 40,000ft2 ] premises on the outskirts of Liverpool with easy access to the motorway network and Liverpool / Manchester airports. Extensive showroom facilities offer a permanent demonstration area for a wide range of new machinery from classical machinery up to and including automatic crosscuts, cnc routers / mortisers and equipment for timber frame housing. In addition we are also able to offer solutions for specialist / bespoke applications, and a range of equipment for plastic and aluminium machining.

Our used machinery warehouse and showroom encompasses a wide variety of equipment for the panel and solid wood industry from the world's leading manufacturers. We are also widely accepted as a major exporter of used equipment and have completed sales / projects for the supply and installation of machinery on a worldwide basis.
