JLA Notarios

JLA was set up as a result of the illusion of two notaries, Juan Madridejos Velasco (J) and Luis Alberto Álvarez Moreno (LA), based on their calling for public service and a project based on the renovation and modernisation of the notarial sector. We met while preparing an opinion, the last of the notary public exams. It is a complex practical exercise of legal reasoning about diverse real or invented problems in which the theory learned after years of study is put into practice. During this preparation, we both got on well with each other and had the chance to appreciate how much in common we had in our respective philosophies about what the notarial profession should be and in particular, about the importance and usefulness of new technologies in developing our profession in the most agile and efficient way, in order to eventually provide a better service and ensure greater satisfaction for clients.
