JNEC-RUB

Jigme Namgyel Engineering College (JNEC) is one of the constituent colleges of the Royal University of Bhutan (RUB). It was established in 1972 coinciding with the third five year economic development plan of the country. The college is 18 kilometers away from Samdrup Jongkhar town in Eastern Bhutan, second gateway to Bhutan from Assam in India. Although it started with the Infrastructure development since 1972, it started offering academic programmes in engineering from 22nd Feb 1974. Currently, JNEC offers 11 programmes.
