Position Summary: Account Executive
Advanced Systems Group (ASG) is hiring an Account Executive based in the Greater Los Angeles Area to drive growth across the territory. This position focuses on developing new business opportunities across datacenter infrastructure, cloud, and workflow solutions. The role is suited for someone who is comfortable operating in a consultative sales environment, working alongside technical teams, and engaging with stakeholders across different levels of an organization.

Position Summary: Account Executive
Advanced Systems Group (ASG) is hiring an Account Executive based in the Greater Los Angeles Area to drive growth across the territory. This position focuses on developing new business opportunities across datacenter infrastructure, cloud, and workflow solutions. The role is suited for someone who is comfortable operating in a consultative sales environment, working alongside technical teams, and engaging with stakeholders across different levels of an organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and expand a book of business, via new customer acquisition and account growth
- Build relationships with technical teams, decision-makers, and executive stakeholders
- Identify opportunities tied to infrastructure, storage, cloud, and workflow initiatives
- Schedule and lead client meetings
- Translate customer needs into solution-oriented conversations in partnership with internal engineering teams
- Coordinate with internal ASG team and external partner teams to scope, position, and deliver proposals aligned to customer goals
- Oversee the full opportunity lifecycle, including deal qualification, progression, and follow-through after close
- Maintain pipeline visibility and updates within ASG’s CRM tool
- Develop and maintain account maps in coordination with key manufacturing partners to align on strategy and opportunity coverage
- Support pipeline generation through direct outreach, meetings, and participation in customer-facing activities
- Stay aligned with internal teams while operating independently in a field-based capacity
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- 5+ years working at either a systems integrator, enterprise storage or software manufacturer; including at least 2+ years of field sales experience in commercial or mid-market; enterprise exposure is beneficial but not required
- Experience selling infrastructure, cloud, storage, or related solutions to end users
- Ability to manage multiple deals and priorities simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with a mix of autonomy and collaboration
- History of building long-term customer relationships
- Experience selling into technical teams within media and entertainment organizations is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, etc.
- Based in the Greater Los Angeles Area
- You will be working remotely but be expected to visit client sites in and around Greater Los Angeles.
- Limited travel required, estimated around 5% for customer meetings and occasional events
