Position Summary
CDTA is seeking a skilled Accountant to play a key role in our Finance department. In this position, you will go beyond basic bookkeeping to manage the financial health of our entities and ensure the accuracy of our general ledger. You will have responsibility within account payables and receivables, reconcile accounts, support financial reporting and annual financial audit, and use your advanced Excel skills to analyze data.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the Books: Maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and prepaids to ensure our financial statements are accurate.
- Oversee Affiliates: Handle the full accounting cycle for CRTC.
- Analyze & Reconcile: Dive into bank statements and GL accounts to identify variances and ensure every penny is accounted for.
- Support the Close: Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes, reconciliations and audits.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business or related field.
- Strong experience with computerized accounting systems and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
- Experience with account reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.

- Accuracy: Precision of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Timeliness: Adherence to month-end and year-end closing schedules.
- Compliance: Accurate and timely completion of assigned work.

Salary
Grade 615 ($61,731-$72,842)
