We have an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Assistant (P II) to join our creative and friendly Midlands team based in our Birmingham and Shrewsbury studios.
About You
Achieved or expecting a RIBA recognised Part II qualification and with strong Revit skills, you bring a creative and practical approach to design. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office, you work well both independently and within a team, contributing to detailed drawings, presentations, and planning submissions with a solid understanding of commercial project delivery.
Your Skills And Experience
- RIBA recognised Part II architectural qualification (achieved or pending)
- Proficient in Revit (essential)
- Strong design and presentation skills
- Experience preparing detailed and working drawings
- Competent in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of UK planning processes and commercial project delivery
- Ability to manage time and work independently
- UK-based experience (essential)
- Have knowledge of the factors involved in developing an architectural project in a commercial environment
- Have experience in the use of 2D, 3D Autodesk and 3D rendering packages along with MS Office
- Be a strong communicator who can work collaboratively and effectively within a team
- Work on tender bids, submissions, planning applications and presentations
- Work on the preparation of detailed design drawings, working drawings and schedules and specifications
- Have a positive attitude to teamwork
- Be innovative in developing design solutions
- Salary: Competitive salary based on experience
- Working Hours: 37 hours per week (Hybrid Working)
