Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages a portfolio of self-storage facilities in multiple locations
- Conducts periodic facility audits
- Conducts regular site visits to review office procedures and organization and inspect facility
- Assists in the annual budget process
- Assist in the development and implementation of all marketing programs
- Enforces and properly implements Policies and Procedures
- Recommends and implements cost savings ideas
- Oversees facilities maintenance
- Oversees incidents occurring at the facilities and ensures proper handling
- Drives sales, training and works closely with on-site staff to increase property revenues, close sales, and market the facilities for top performance
- Conducts interviews and evaluates staffing needs compared to site budgets
- Recommend hiring, training, termination, and disciplinary action of site personnel
- Evaluate employee performance, recommend salary increases and administer performance
- Ensures all self-storage locations are open for business during regularly scheduled hours
- Oversees the duties of store personnel in their management of the site.
- 3+ years of multi-unit operations experience in one or more of the following: self-storage, retail, restaurant, hotel, leasing, rental, or other customer service operation with responsibility for operating 10+ stores.
- An integrity-focused individual with excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of top tier performance
- Experience managing operational and payroll budgets
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Passion for sales and customer service excellence
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
