- Participation in the preparation of battery system requirements and specifications
- Identify and resolve technical problems through strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Analyze and optimize electrified powertrain systems, including NMC/LFP battery technologies and Battery Management Systems (BMS)
- Validate control algorithms for powertrain and energy management systems
- Conduct diagnostics and manage communication networks such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet
- Utilize Vector CAN tools and Matlab-Simulink for system modeling, simulation, and testing
- Perform data acquisition and analysis to support validation and verification activities
- Drive innovation by proposing and developing new ideas in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Contribute to the improvement of cross-departmental processes in interdisciplinary environments
- Support HV battery controls and functional safety activities
- Ensuring development quality and defining respective measures (requirements engineering, review loops, document release, etc.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Control / Mechatronics / Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
- Preferably at least 3 years of experience in battery development or automotive systems
- Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English (German would be a plus)
- Willingness to frequent and long-term domestic and international travel
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
