Essential Job Functions:
- Manage the department to achieve an effective and economic operation.
- Communicate with Indiana Gaming Commission, state, local, and federal law enforcement agencies, Security, management, and Human Resources; is an in-direct report to the General Manager.
- Assure gaming integrity and the protection of assets.
- Develop, enforce, and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
- Monitor surveillance activities to assure compliance with policy and procedures and to report all irregularities to appropriate management or agency.
- Manage duties, coach and counsel, and evaluate performance of staff.
- Review shift reports for accuracy and precision.
- Appraise CFO of shift activities and staff member activities.
- Assure gaming integrity and the protection of company assets.
- Recruit, hire, and ensure staff is properly trained.
- Write and submit surveillance activity reports to the Indiana Gaming Commission and senior management.
- Perform special monitoring and investigations as directed.
- Coordinate the purchase, installation, and maintenance of related equipment.
- Provide service to internal and external customers which reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation and Recognition. (S.T.A.R.)
- Responsible for immediately informing on-site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to company Self-Reporting Policy.
- Perform other surveillance duties as assigned.
- Attend, and assist as needed, training provided within and outside the department.
