Role Description
This is a contract remote role for a Field Assistant for projects in Alaska. Responsibilities include providing logistical support, assisting with field operations, conducting various geophysical surveys and maintaining and organizing field equipment. The role requires frequent travel to project sites in Alaska, data collection and reporting, as well as collaboration with field teams to ensure project goals are met efficiently. Proper adherence to safety and operational guidelines is essential.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in logistical support, field operations, and equipment handling
- Ability to work in remote environments and adapt to varying field conditions
- Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Safety-oriented mindset with adherence to operational guidelines
- Previous experience in geosciences or related fields is an advantage
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in geophysics or geoscience is a plus
