Financial Analyst

A leading company is looking for an Analyst/Economist to join the Finance Department.

The role includes leading the budgeting process, tracking performance against budget, analyzing data, and presenting insights to senior management. The position requires ongoing work with KPIs, preparing performance reports, identifying and highlighting anomalies, as well as project controlling and feasibility assessment. An understanding of accounting principles and experience with information systems and BI tools for report generation, trend analysis, and process improvement are required. The role involves working with multiple interfaces across the organization and requires independence, initiative, accuracy, and high self-control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing the budgeting process and monitoring budget vs. actual performance.
• Analyzing data and presenting actionable insights to senior management.
• Working closely with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and preparing performance reports.
• Identifying anomalies, investigating their root causes, and escalating issues as necessary.
• Conducting financial control and feasibility assessments for ongoing and new projects.
• Operating BI tools and information systems to generate reports and identify business trends.
• Collaborating with multiple stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst / Economist.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, or Accounting.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Advantage: Proficiency in SQL/Python, Power BI, or SAP BI.
• Knowledge: Understanding of accounting principles (an advantage).
• Presentation Skills: Experience in data analysis and presenting insights to executive/senior management.
