Aldridge is seeking a Heavy Equipment/Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic and energetic team. This role will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment for our fleet department nationwide.
What You’ll Do
- Repair and maintain heavy equipment including heavy and light duty trucks, large foundation drilling rigs, loaders, bobcats, and other support equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment, as well as heavy and light duty trucks.
- Perform Federal Highway Administration inspections.
- Assure that heavy equipment is in working order.
- Respond to and communicate with internal customer requests for service.
- CDL license Class “A” with manual endorsement desired
- Willing to consider Class "B" with manual endorsement
- 5+ years of experience
- Natural engineering and problem-solving senses
- Welding and fabricating skills
- Basic computer skills
- Dependable and reliable attendance
- Able to commit to 2-week travel rotation (home every other weekend)

This is a union position and base pay is determined by current union rates. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
