Qualifications/Requirements

  • K-12 Intervention Specialist License-mild/moderate or moderate/Intensive
  • Teaching experience preferred
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate student learning experiences.
  • Ability to promote a full range of learning options.
  • Help students manage behavior.
  • Passion for working with at-risk students with challenging behaviors
  • Encourage parental involvement.
  • Support an inclusive educational environment.
  • Serve as a resource to teachers with students with disabilities in their classrooms.
  • Facilitate self-reliance, problem-solving, critical-thinking, creativity, and performance skills.
  • Current with technology
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Relationship builder
