The intern will assist in the development and deployment of Manufacturing Best Practices.
This is a paid internship and has a start date of mid-May and ends in mid-late August 2026.
Job Responsibilities - About the role - you'll need to:
- Assist in the Reduction of Cycle Times
- Assist in improved document control
- Assist in improving scrap rates
- Cycle Time Studies
- Assist in the development of Best Practices
- Develop tighter document controls
- Work with team to identify/improve processes for both cost and time savings
- Assist in design and prototyping of: Jigs, fixtures, etc.
- Assist in developing and maintaining 6S throughout the facility
- Current pursuing a Manufacturing or General Engineering Bachelor's degree
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent attention to detail required
- Need to be comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite, emphasis on Excel. SolidWorks/AutoCAD experience are very beneficial
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Ability to work independently OR ability to work with a team and be an enthusiastic team player
- Standing/Sitting for long periods of time. Working in a manufacturing environment.
