Job Description

Management of all onsite activities (from installation start until acceptance as well as Service Interventions) comparable with a PjM deputy and Safety Manager, supporting the PjM by taking over responsibility of onsite coordination and clarification. Support, direct and oversee system erection at customer site to ensure that the work can be done in safe environment and support the project to reach finalization on schedule, with good quality and within target cost and timeline.

  • Coordination and steering of on-site activities, executed either from AVL staff or by contractors
  • Progress monitoring & reporting (both internal as well as towards the customer)
  • Initiate on-site meetings
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards to be reflected, briefing of on-site personal (both AVL staff and contractors)
  • Interface to customer, supplier, safety team and AVL team in safety-related issues.
  • Clarify customer requirements
  • Provide deviations and exclusions to the RFQ

Profile Description

  • Driver’s license
  • Basic English communication skills preferable
  • Practical experience in installation work
  • Rich knowledge and experience with mechanical and electrical assembly and installation process, tooling as well as quality control methods;
  • Candidates with an Industrial Safety Engineer certification or above are preferred
