Position Overview
Alleviant Health Centers of Brentwood is looking for a Paramedic to join our team on a PRN/part-time basis. At our clinic, the Paramedic will fulfill the care requirements of our patients. Under the direction of the Medical Director and CRNA, the successful candidate will work within their entire scope of practice. He or she will be fully accountable for ensuring that the utmost in competent care and safety is consistently delivered to all patients. This opportunity awaits a motivated and ambitious professional with patient care experience.
Essential Job Functions
Provide basic care
Administer medications and document therapeutic effects
Monitor and document vital signs
Start IVs for therapy infusions
Assist with patient comfort
Help coach staff as necessary
Set up procedure rooms
Perform follow up calls
Inventory and stock supplies
Will perform TMS treatments after training
Physical Demands
Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Requires ability to work under stressful situations demanding high concentration and energy level.
Qualifications
1+ years’ experience as a Paramedic
Up to date first aid and CPR certification
Current certification in the state
Motivated to learn clinic policies and procedures, including our EMR
Exceptional staff training and customer service skills
Compassionate and friendly demeanor
Licenses/Certifications
Paramedic license (required)
BLS & ACLS certified (required)
Job Context
Majority of the responsibilities will take place at Alleviant Health Centers of Brentwood, TN.
Facility work hours are Monday-Friday 8am to 6pm; however, individual schedules may vary. Individual responsibilities are mostly limited to providing clients outstanding, satisfactory services.
Additionally, contributing to the corporate culture and activities are expected. The atmosphere is positive, encouraging, and teamwork oriented.
