Production Assembler

We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on Production Assembler to join our Pre-Production team at Allied Vehicles in Glasgow. Working as part of a close-knit team, you’ll build and assemble specialist vehicle components, ensuring everything meets our high-quality standards.

In this role, you’ll be building and assembling vehicle components as part of a fast-paced production environment, working closely with your team to meet daily targets and quality standards.

At Allied Vehicles, we design, develop and manufacture a wide range of specialist vehicles, including wheelchair accessible vehicles, taxis and minibuses. We also provide aftersales services and are Scotland’s largest independent parts distributor.

Hours of work are Monday-Wednesday, 7am-6pm and Thursday 7am-5.30pm with the salary of £13.45 per hour plus a weekly bonus (earning up to £40 per week).

The Main Duties Of The Role Are

• Read and follow mechanical drawings and SOPs
• Assemble components using hand and air tools
• Work to production targets while maintaining quality standards
• Keep tools and work area safe, clean and organised
• Complete required documentation

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous but not essential - full training will be provided.
