We’re looking for a Video Scriptwriter who can turn technical hardware products into clear, practical, and engaging video scripts, from step-by-step installs to 15 to 30 second scroll-stopping marketing videos.

We’re looking for a Video Scriptwriter who can turn technical hardware products into clear, practical, and engaging video scripts, from step-by-step installs to 15 to 30 second scroll-stopping marketing videos.
What You’ll Work On
- Installation and how-to video scripts (clear, accurate, easy to follow)
- Short-form social scripts for Reels, Shorts, Pinterest & Facebook
- Product and category explainer videos
- Problem Solution, Before/After, and comparison formats
- On-screen text and voiceover scripts designed for sound-off viewing
- 3-5 years of experience in writing video scripts
- Experience in writing for US audiences is a plus
- Strong understanding of short-form marketing video
- Ability to simplify technical or instructional content
- Comfort writing for hands-only, VO-led, and text-driven videos
- Familiarity with home improvement, DIY, tools, or construction content (preferred)
- Collaborate with video editors, social media, SEO, and catalog teams
- Adapt scripts based on performance (retention, saves, completion rate)
- Create multiple hook variations for testing and optimization
