What You’ll Do
- Operate distillation recycling equipment in the still room
- Load/unload mineral spirits and manage material flow from trucks and containers
- Monitor and inspect equipment during your shift; troubleshoot and make minor repairs as needed
- Pump and package recycled product, ensuring proper labeling and sealing
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the still room and work areas
- Support general warehouse operations including:
- Loading/unloading trucks
- Preparing shipments
- Tagging and tracking materials
- Operating hi-lo/forklift and pallet jack
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1–3 months of related experience or willingness to learn
- Ability to operate or be trained on forklifts/hi-lo equipment (required)
- Basic math and computer skills
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and move/handle drums and materials
- Frequent walking, lifting, and equipment operation throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with noise, equipment, and occasional fumes
