Job Purpose: Aventiv Technologies offers a progressive style 12-week paid internship program designed to give students and recent graduates hands-on experience in all facets of our operations. Students will have exposure to working alongside our experienced leadership to help build our processes and keep the business running smoothly.

The Summer Intern will support the GEX line of business by learning, documenting, and organizing core operational processes and procedures into a clear, usable manual for associates and leadership. This internship focuses on one primary project: capturing the GEX operation from start to finish and ensuring processes, roles, and expectations are documented consistently and stored in a centralized location.

By the end of the internship, the intern will deliver the first end‑to‑end documentation of the GEX line of business, enabling operational clarity, training consistency, and leadership alignment.

Essential Duties

  • Learn and understand GEX processes, workflows, and policies through observation, interviews, and hands-on exposure
  • Document step-by-step operational processes and procedures in a clear, organized, and user-friendly format
  • Identify and document roles, responsibilities, and expectations across the GEX line of business
  • Organize existing and newly created documentation into a single, accessible location
  • Develop a practical operations manual that can be used by both associates and leadership to perform specific job functions
  • Partner with associates, leadership, and subject matter experts to validate accuracy and alignment of documentation
  • Identify opportunities for process or policy improvement and provide recommendations
  • Present progress updates and final deliverables to leadership as appropriate

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Operations, Management, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong written communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to learn complex processes and translate them into clear documentation
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage a long-term project independently
  • Comfortable collaborating with team members at multiple levels of the organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, SharePoint, Teams)

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Currently enrolled in a Tech or Vocational school, or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship experience
  • Campus Involvement (clubs/organizations, work study, etc.)

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
  • Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.

Salary And Benefits

At Aventiv, our salary and benefits are designed to fit you as a whole person. We offer a salary range based on experience and qualifications to ensure your unique contributions are met with our most competitive offer.

  • $20.00 - $22.00/hr
