Technical Operations Lead
Atera
Tel Aviv-Yafo, Tel Aviv District, Israel
Business Management / Project / Planning, Manufacturing / Production
You will be the person who keeps the function aligned, turns AI ambitions into running programs, and makes sure nothing falls between the cracks. You will report directly to the EVP of IT & Security and work closely with other Operations leads across the company and senior executive management.
What You Will Own
Operations across IT, Security & BA
- Cross-team alignment within the function: keep IT, Security, and BA operating as one organization. Drive shared visibility, surface dependencies early, and make sure the three teams move in the same direction.
- Planning & tracking: own roadmap visibility across the function. Maintain a single source of truth on initiatives, dependencies, risks, and progress against quarterly goals.
- Budget & vendor operations: partner with Finance on budget tracking, vendor renewals, and procurement workflows for the IT, Security, and BA stack.
- Reporting to leadership: translate function activity into clear executive narratives — metrics, status, blockers, asks — ready for the EVP and senior executive management.
- Process & tooling: tighten how the function works. Reduce coordination overhead, kill duplicate work, and make sure the right tools are doing the right jobs.
- Robin internal success: partner with the IT team and the Product team to drive the internal success of Robin at Atera — rollout, adoption, feedback loops, and turning internal usage into a strong proof point for the product.
- Department AI tool implementation: support the operational motion behind AI tool implementations across the department — from rollout planning to landing them with the teams.
- Security & risk coordination: partner with Security on the operational side of AI risk — vendor reviews, policy rollouts, exception handling, and audit readiness.
- AI Enablement Dev team prioritization and scoping: act as the business-side interface to the AI Enablement development team — triaging incoming AI enablement requests, prioritizing the backlog, and ensuring the right work gets resourced at the right time. Lead the functional scoping of internal AI solutions — translating business needs into clear, structured requirements.
- Embedded support: act as the operational partner to the company-wide AI Enablement team. Help them ship faster by handling the cross-team logistics, coordination, and follow-through that pulls focus away from the actual enablement work, and centralizing the AI Champions program across teams.
- Programs & campaigns: co-run internal AI enablement programs — training rollouts, adoption campaigns, internal comms, measurement of usage and impact.
- The position is a ~ 9 months temporary position due to maternity leave replacement **
Requirements:
- 2+ years in operations, program management, chief-of-staff, or BizOps roles — ideally inside SaaS, tech, or another fast-paced environment.
- Track record running cross-functional operations across multiple teams or functions simultaneously, with senior stakeholders on each side.
- Genuine fluency with AI tools in a work context. You use them daily, you have opinions about which ones work, and you can help others get value from them. This is not optional.
- Strong written communication. You can take a messy situation, write three crisp paragraphs, and have leadership aligned by the end of the day.
- Analytical mindset: comfortable working with data — pulling numbers, identifying trends, and translating insights into clear recommendations that drive decisions.
- Comfortable operating without a playbook. We need someone who designs the playbook as they go.
- Bias toward shipping over polishing. You finish things.
- Working knowledge of how IT and Security functions operate is a strong plus. Familiarity with BA / business systems work is a bonus.
- Hebrew and English at a professional level.
- You will be hands-on with Atera’s AI stack — Robin, Autopilot, Claude, and the broader AI Enablement work — from an operational seat, not a sidelines seat.
- You will operate at the intersection of three teams during a real moment of org change — high visibility, high impact.
- You will work directly with senior leadership and have visible impact on how Atera runs internally and how it ships its AI strategy.
- Strong basis for a permanent role for the right person, depending on how the function evolves.
