Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients seeking a Program Manager Bariatric to support and maintain Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program standards. This role leads quality improvement initiatives, accreditation readiness, education programs, and performance monitoring to support high-quality patient outcomes across the continuum of care.

Responsibilities:

• Support compliance with Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP) standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain bariatric quality management and performance improvement initiatives.
• Monitor, analyze, and trend clinical and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and best-practice guidelines for bariatric patient care.
• Coordinate accreditation activities, regulatory compliance efforts, and internal audits.
• Serve as a liaison between administration, medical staff, quality teams, and community stakeholders.
• Lead education and training initiatives related to bariatric patient care and accreditation requirements.
• Promote High Reliability principles and continuous quality improvement methodologies.
• Support patient safety, regulatory readiness, and healthcare quality initiatives.
• Utilize healthcare data and analytics to support informed decision-making and performance improvement.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and leadership.
• Use Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, clinical systems, and registry databases to support program operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum three years of healthcare experience required.
• Two years of quality management experience preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
• Certified Bariatric Nurse (CBN) certification required within two years of hire.
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Knowledge of healthcare quality management, accreditation standards, process improvement, and patient safety principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and healthcare information systems.
