- Assists in maintaining Federal, State and local regulatory requirements for equipment and facilities.
- Monitors inventory and submits parts and supplies requisitions through proper channels.
- Maintain a clean, neat and organized work area.
- Assists Company Maintenance Supervisor, as needed.
- Evaluates effectiveness of established system programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Hold a current FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate.
- Meet initial and continuing standards of the FAA Drug & Alcohol Program.
- Experience and knowledge in maintaining aircraft, and related components.
- Experience in operating tools and equipment in the process of maintaining aircraft.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, using independent judgment and decision-making
- Ability to work as a team member in jobs that require a high level of cooperation and coordination.
- Ability to take directions and follow assignments within Company Policy & Procedures.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Must have computer skills.
- Must have a GED or High School Diploma.
- Prior Maintenance experience preferred.
- This position is very active and may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing up to 8 – 10 hours a day.
- Requires frequent and routine lifting or moving items weighing over 70 pounds.
- Must have work-related tools per Company minimum list.
- Must be able to pass a ten year security background check for airport badging.
- Must be 21 years or older with a clean driving record in the past five years.
