Overview
The GBS (Gallagher Benefit Services) Director of Operations for Gallagher Technology and Enrollment Consulting is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the operational strategy, execution, and performance of the technology and enrollment consulting division. This role ensures operational excellence, drives efficiency, and aligns the division's goals with Gallagher's broader business objectives. The Director of Operations will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and lead initiatives to enhance client satisfaction, streamline processes, and support business growth.
How You'll Make An Impact
Operational Leadership
- Develop and implement operational strategies to support the growth and efficiency of the Gallagher Technology and Enrollment Consulting division.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client needs.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive process optimization and standardization across the division to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure proper resource allocation and workload distribution to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
- Promote professional development opportunities for team members to enhance skills and expertise.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of technology and enrollment consulting services.
- Act as a liaison between clients, consultants, and internal teams to address operational challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
- Ensure a client-centric approach in all operational activities, prioritizing client satisfaction and long-term relationships.
- Partner with technology teams to implement and maintain tools and systems that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Identify and adopt innovative technologies to improve enrollment processes and consulting services.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and Gallagher's internal policies.
- Contribute to the development of the division's strategic plan, aligning operational goals with business objectives.
- Lead initiatives to expand service offerings, improve scalability, and support business growth.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify market trends, risks, and opportunities for the division.
- Manage the division's operational budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with financial goals.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and recommend adjustments to optimize performance.
- Support revenue growth by streamlining operations and enhancing service delivery.
Required:
- Requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the insurance, benefits, or consulting industry.
- Proven track record of leading large teams and managing complex operational processes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members effectively.
- Proficiency in operational tools, project management software, and data analysis platforms.
- Knowledge of technology and enrollment consulting processes, tools, and best practices.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
- Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality services.

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
