Primary Purpose of Job

To be an essential member of The MBUSA Legal Operations Team dedicated to improving and delivering The Legal Department’s full range of client services to the business. Coordinate and ensure accurate tracking of all legal process served on company to minimize risk. Own and optimize processes for the implementation, maintenance, integration, and migration of contracts into a Contract Management System.

Responsibilities

  • Configuring the Contract management System (CMS) to meet the organization's needs,
  • Training staff on system usage including presentations to various business units.
  • Managing and scheduling on demand training through the corporate training portal.
  • Analyze data to ensure accuracy and integrity within the system through monthly audits and reports.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify system requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and develop strategies for improving contract management processes. Including but not limited to a core team of users to drive best practice.
  • Staying updated on industry best practices and new technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the CMS.
  • Providing guidance, technical advice, and expertise to employees on Information Governance (IG) activities relating to contract management systems to properly manage and protect the company's information assets.
  • Responding to questions and concerns from business partners with respect to utilizing the system.
  • Developing and publicizing standard operating procedures that will provide direction and guidance to employees in the creation, use, maintenance, and proper deletion of contracts within the company’s contract management system.
  • Researching and presenting information for investigations and litigation matters.
  • Managing Departmental projects as required.
  • Creating, analyzing, and presenting weekly reports showing status of contracts within the system.
  • Creating and promoting contract management playbooks.
  • Managing auxiliary systems that support contract management.
  • Any other tasks that are necessary for the success of The Legal Operations Team

Qualifikationen

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited school)
  • 4 – 6 years experience in administrating and managing electronic document systems and/ or repositories.
  • A solid understanding of information governance principles and the records lifecycle application.
  • Highly proficient working in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) applications.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or within a project team environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Able to quickly adapt in order to respond to the shifting needs of the department.
  • Project Management proficiency.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Paralegal / Legal experience
  • Great customer service focus
