Job Description

The Role

In your role as an Analytics Consultant, you will partner closely with customers to help them integrate data, adopt analytics solutions, and translate complex requirements into effective, real‑world outcomes. This role sits within the Professional Services Analytics organization and blends technical depth, analytical rigor, and client‑facing consulting.

You will work on ambiguous, data‑intensive problems that require creative problem solving, sound judgment, and the ability to move fluidly between high‑level context and deep technical detail. This role is well suited to a strong generalist who can quickly understand complex systems, pick up new concepts and tools, and dive deep when a problem demands it.

Success in this role comes from curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to break down unfamiliar problems, synthesize information across domains, and guide customers toward practical, well‑reasoned solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end‑to‑end delivery of analytics, working with customers and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes
  • Understand customer objectives and analytical requirements, identifying risks, constraints, or scope misalignment early
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to assess data quality, uncover issues, and inform analytical decisions
  • Guide customers through data readiness activities and help resolve common data challenges efficiently
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer data structures and processes, translating needs and insights to internal teams
  • Advise customers on effective use of analytics and data‑driven solutions, adapting approaches as needs evolve
  • Communicate analytical results clearly through concise reports, presentations, and visualizations
  • Contribute to internal software, automation, or repeatable processes that improve analytics delivery and analytical performance
  • Assess analytical results in live environments and drive continuous improvement

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

  • Several years of professional experience in analytics, data‑focused consulting, or a related technical role
  • Demonstrated, hands‑on experience using Python and SQL in a professional environment, including writing, maintaining, and debugging code and developing effective queries to analyze data
  • Proven experience working directly with customers or stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver outcomes
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, particularly when working with complex or ambiguous data
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with software engineering fundamentals, such as version control and working in Unix/Linux environments
  • Ability to manage priorities and operate effectively in dynamic, project‑based environments
  • Experience operating in client-facing or consulting environments, with the ability to influence technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Experience working with large‑scale, real‑world datasets, including imperfect or noisy data
  • Ability to review complex codebases and propose architectural improvements that reduce complexity and support scalable, cross‑team or cross‑region use
  • Hands‑on experience developing, training, or applying machine learning or statistical models in practice
  • Experience designing and implementing rule‑based, statistical, or heuristic approaches to solve analytical problems where machine learning may not be appropriate
  • Familiarity with event‑driven systems and distributed or stateful data processing architectures
  • Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud‑based technologies
