St Virgil’s College invites applications from passionate and qualified applicants for a fixed term HPE Teaching position at our Junior School campus

Part-time (4 days per week, FTE 0.8), limited tenure replacement position, commencing start of Term 3 (27 July) 2026

The College invites applications from passionate and qualified applicants for a fixed term HPE teaching position, encompassing planning, management and implementation of the Junior School HPE and sports program. The position is based at our Junior School campus, Patrick Street, Hobart.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual who demonstrates a commitment to academic excellence and fosters a supportive, safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all primary students.

The successful applicant will have a proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, families, and the broader community, and a willingness to deliver high-quality timetabled classes and curricular and co-curricular programs.

The successful candidate will need to exhibit a personal commitment to the mission and vision of St Virgil's College and work within the confines of Commonwealth Privacy and Safeguarding legislation.
