Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Comprehensive Wound Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of wounds, considering factors like tissue condition, drainage, and infection.
- Treatment Plan Development: Create and adjust treatment plans based on wound type, patient history, and individual needs.
- Wound Management: Apply various wound dressings, perform debridement, and manage complications.
- Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT): Administer HBOT and monitor patient responses during and after treatment.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families about wound care, prevention strategies, and self-care
- Collaboration and Communication: Work with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and share information.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient progress, treatments, and responses.
- Research and Continuous Education: Stay updated on advancements in wound care and hyperbaric medicine.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California.
- Certification in hyperbaric medicine, required course completion within the first 30 days if not already certified.
- At least 2 years’ experience with wound assessment, treatment and management.
- Experience in a hyperbaric medicine setting.
- Proficiency in performing procedures, such as debridement and dressing changes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Personnel management experience and process improvement required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year.
