We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiation Therapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering radiation treatment to patients as prescribed by oncologists, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. This role requires precision, compassion, and a thorough understanding of radiation therapy techniques and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed radiation treatments to patients accurately and safely.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment in compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and report any adverse reactions or concerns promptly.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures and potential side effects.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Adhere to all regulatory and institutional policies regarding radiation safety and patient confidentiality.
- Degree or diploma in Radiation Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Certification and licensure as required by relevant regulatory bodies.
- Strong knowledge of radiation therapy techniques, equipment, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
