Real Estate & Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Description

We are seeking a Real Estate & Civil Litigation Attorney to become a part of our team! You will represent clients in legal proceedings, draw up legal documents and advise clients on legal transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court
• Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
• Advise clients on real estate and civil transactions
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
  
  

Qualifications: We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• J.D. and an active Virginia Bar license
• 2+ years’ experience as a practicing litigation attorney and strong desire to develop additional bench and jury trial skills
• Strong interest in developing real estate and civil litigation experience
• Self-starter with demonstrated experience in litigation
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
• Court room experience
• Ability to communicate regularly with clients on a range of practice group topics
• Ability to multi-task and operate against inflexible deadlines both in a team environment and independently
• Client development and marketing experience
• Excellent attention to detail
