👋 Why Join Housr?

We are a hyper-growth tech startup on a mission to revolutionise student rental. And when we say hyper-growth, we mean we have gone from $0 to $10M ARR in just the past 18 months.

We just recently raised a $10M Series A and we are putting this investment to work to fuel our growth in the US + Canada college markets.

The Opportunity

We’re building out the brand and perks side of Housr as we expand across North America. Each new university we launch isn’t just about housing. It’s also about the experience around it. The brands, offers and perks that make the platform feel genuinely useful to students. That’s what this role focuses on.

You’ll be building relationships with brands, from national names through to strong local operators, and turning those into partnerships that go live in each market. This is a senior individual contributor role. You’ll run your own deals, help shape how we approach partnerships, and play a direct role in how each new campus comes to life.

Why This Role Is Interesting

There isn’t a fully built engine here yet. You won’t be stepping into a polished partnerships function with everything mapped out. A lot of it is still being figured out.

You’ll have the space to test approaches, try different angles with brands, and work out what actually lands in different markets. Some partnerships will be straightforward. Others will be more involved and need a bit more thought commercially. The work also shows up quickly. The brands you bring on are visible to students as soon as a market launches, so you can see the impact of what you’ve done pretty clearly.

If you like building something while still being close to deals, this tends to suit.

What You’ll Own

  • Building your own pipeline of brand and perks partners across new university markets
  • Running deals end to end, from first outreach through to close
  • Speaking with a mix of stakeholders, from local business owners to marketing teams at larger brands
  • Signing partners that add real value to the student experience, not just ticking a box
  • Working with leadership on which brands, categories and markets to prioritise
  • Handling a mix of deal types, from simple local agreements through to more structured national partnerships
  • Feeding back what you’re hearing from brands so we can improve how we position things
  • Working closely with GTM, marketing and customer teams to make sure partnerships go live properly and actually get used

What Good Looks Like In You

  • You’ve sold partnerships, sponsorships, or SMB to mid-market deals in the US or Canada
  • You’re comfortable owning the full cycle, from opening the conversation through to closing
  • You’re confident reaching out and building relationships from scratch
  • You’re commercially aware and can keep deals moving without overcomplicating them
  • You’ve worked in a fast-paced environment where things aren’t always fully defined
  • You communicate clearly and can adapt how you pitch depending on who you’re speaking to
  • You’re proactive and don’t wait for pipeline to appear

This Role Is Not For You If

  • You’re looking for a purely strategic role without being hands-on in deals
  • You’re uncomfortable with outbound or building relationships from scratch
  • You prefer long, slow enterprise sales cycles over a mix of deal sizes and pace
  • You need a rigid playbook and clear structure from day one

⛳️ What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation + meaningful equity - You’ll have real ownership in what you’re building — not just a paycheck.
  • Front-row seat to hyper-growth - Join a company that has gone from $0 to $10M ARR in 18 months and is just getting started in North America.
  • Massive career growth - This role has a clear path to senior AE and leadership opportunities as we scale the properties team.
  • High ownership, high impact - Every deal you close directly impacts market launches and company growth.
  • Work with a world-class, global team - Collaborate with sharp, driven teammates across the US, UK, and beyond.
  • Flexibility & trust - We care about outcomes, not clock-watching. You’ll have the autonomy to do your best work.
  • Opportunity to build something category-defining - We’re reimagining the off-campus student experience from the ground up.

🗓️ Interview process

We aim to move quickly and keep things straightforward.

  • Intro Call (30 minutes)A conversation with a member of our team to get to know you, walk through your background, and align on role expectations.
  • Sales Deep Dive / Case Conversation (1 hour)A practical discussion with sales leadership focused on how you approach outbound selling, deal velocity, and partner value.
  • Sales Task + Presentation (1.5 hours)You’ll walk us through how you’d launch perk partners in a new university market — from prospecting to close.
  • Final Conversation with Leadership (45 minutes)A conversation to align on vision, ownership, and long-term growth at Housr.
