Job Description Summary: Contract Operations Supply Planner
The Contract Operations Supply Planner role primarily focuses on managing the finished goods, replenishment planning, and inventory management activities across the network on a breadth of the PepsiCo portfolio. This position oversees these processes for finished goods coming from distribution centers while ensuring achievement of customer service goals and minimizing operating cost and inventory investment.
Key objectives include delivering world class customer service for the Contract Operations portfolio of products, ensuring safe days of supply of inventory are maintained across the PBNA Central Division, mitigating out of stock risk, and providing Gold Standard level of customer service.
This role may require some travel (5-10%)
Responsibilities
- Deliver Contract Operations portfolio service targets
- Maintain ordering to division target safe day targets and be able to partner with locations on inventory management
- Perform weekly root cause analysis, utilizing exception reports and Tableau tools to identify inventory availability risks, and providing detailed action plans to mitigate potential “Out of Stock” and product aging risk
- Work closely between SAP and the RP order module in order to manage and monitor inbound inventory into PBC warehouses
- Communicate results, risks and corrective action plans to all stakeholders (Including Sales, Warehouse, and Brand teams)
- Develop strong working relationships with all key cross functional partners in Contract Ops Production Planning, Demand Planning, Integration, Warehouse and Transport
- Maintain Supply Planning systems, settings, and data integrity
- Partner with Demand Planning to adjust forecast where necessary
- Lead divisional productivity initiatives and process improvement work
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $73,400 - $122,850.

- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually.

Role will sit in-person in Plano TX or Chicago IL HQs
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field
- Able to prioritize various activities and tasks
- Understanding of supply chain and purchasing concepts and the impact on operations, warehouse, and sales teams
- 2 years’ experience with SAP and inventory control (preferred)
- Strong analytical foundations for fact based decision making
- Strong leadership skills with ability to influence others and effectively manage change
- Strong communications skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications and advanced Excel capability
- Ability to develop and implement process improvement initiatives
- Proficiency in Business Objects is preferred
- SAP competency (preferred)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
