Overview

Mgr. Major Gift Program, FT, Piedmont Columbus Midtown

Cultivates and stewards an active portfolio of 75-125 prospective and current donors through best practice development techniques in order to secure philanthropic support to meet annual revenue goals. Oversees and executed a broad development strategy for a major strategic service line of Piedmont Healthcare at determined by the organization (i.e. Cardiovascular, Oncology, Transplant, Neurosciences etc). Develops and implements measurable activities to accomplish development goals including individual donor cultivation and asks as well as foundation grant requests. Establishes and maintains effective relationships within Piedmont Healthcare. Maintains knowledge of current events, healthcare trends and fundraising trends within the Piedmont system and healthcare in general.

  • Bachelors Degree from a recognized college or university in communications, marketing, development, business, or a closely related field is Required

Work Experience

  • 5 years of responsible professional work experience in development, marketing, communications or a closely related field to include three (3) years of development related activities. Required
  • Demonstrated results in initiating relationships, cultivating interests and securing support and participation. Required
  • Experience with a donor database system is Required
