Brinton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our exceptional in-house therapy team. We are proud to offer PRN positions for individuals who are passionate about improving lives through compassionate, client-centered care.
As a member of our therapy team, you will work with individuals experiencing physical, mental, or developmental challenges to help them regain or maintain essential daily living and work skills. Our ideal candidate brings a holistic, adaptive approach to care, with a strong desire to make a meaningful difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support patient independence by addressing performance areas impacting health, well-being, and quality of life
- Select and tailor occupational therapy treatment models and methods to meet individual needs
- Deliver interventions that improve safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental ADLs (IADLs)
- Teach adaptive strategies and task breakdowns to promote achievable success
- Evaluate home and external environments to recommend functional adaptations
- Recommend, educate on, and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment
- Provide guidance and education to family members and caregivers
- Track and document progress toward long- and short-term goals
- Maintain consistent follow-up to ensure continued improvement and safety
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure to practice occupational therapy
- Strong clinical knowledge of occupational therapy principles, practices, and current treatment approaches
- Familiarity with ADL evaluation tools and adaptive techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

We have licensed and experienced Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapists who will work on achieving a patient’s prior level of function, or even surpass their previous abilities.
Along with the therapy team our nursing staff will extend a helping hand to the betterment of you or your loved one. In addition to clinical services, we welcome our patients to join in the daily activities our experienced recreation staff offers. Our Medicaid specialist is ready to assist you and your loved one through the Pennsylvania Medicaid process to ease the transition for a long term stay or extended stay. All our departments strive to give the best care possible. Whether your loved one requires rehabilitation post-hospitalization, respite care for any length of stay, or long term residency, we will be happy to accommodate.
