Under the direction of the Regional Director of Materials Management, the Director of Materials Management oversees all departmental functions to support the hospital’s mission, vision, and goals. This position identifies and implements cost-effective systems and ensures resource availability, aligned with business trends and customer needs across the main hospital and ambulatory surgery center. The Director establishes strong working relationships with patients, physicians, staff, volunteers, and vendors and collaborates with senior management to achieve facility objectives.

Required Skills:
Education
- High school diploma required.
- College degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- No specific certifications required; however, certifications in Supply Chain Management or Inventory Control
Specific Job Experience
- Minimum of five years’ purchasing experience in a healthcare environment. Experience with automated supply systems and Just-In-Time inventory practices in a hospital setting preferred.
