EPI Power is hiring a Warehouse Delivery Driver to join our team in Des Moines, IA at our prefabrication shop. The Warehouse Delivery Driver is responsible for distributing products promptly to our jobsites. They will represent our company professionally and cost-effectively to increase profitability and customer satisfaction. A valid Class B Commercial Motor Vehicle (CDL) license with a good driving record is required, as well as the ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.

The schedule for this role 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver a wide variety of construction items to different locations
  • Comply with DOT regulations (i.e. trailer weight/load restrictions, equipment maintenance)
  • Ensure equipment and tools are delivered timely to project sites to maximize productivity and in a cost-effective manner
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle (one ton and below) and backup trailers
  • Operate small equipment to load/unload trucks, rearrange items, and perform other tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Certifications:
    • Forklift Certification is required, or the willingness to obtain upon hire
    • Class B Commercial Motor Vehicle (CDL) license
    • Experience:


    • Previous experience as a Delivery Driver required
    • Experience working in a construction-related warehouse preferred
    • Technology:


    • Proficiency in basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Ability to learn job-related specific software upon hire
    • Skills:


    • Skilled driver who will represent EPI professionally on and off the road
    • Ability to drive a forklift and meet the physical demands of the role
    • Organized with a high attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong time management skills with the flexibility to make adjustments as needed
    • Excellent relationship builder and ability to get along well with others
